Bethany is the founder and owner of Riverbank Birth Services. She was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area and is the mother to three beautiful children, Atlas, Julian and Emery. Graduating from George Mason University with a Social Work Degree, Bethany began her career working with many population groups including families that were homeless, victims of domestic violence, and at-risk youth. Her passion for advocacy found it's true path when she gave birth to her first child and realized it's role in pregnancy and labor support. She left her career to open her own solo business, originally called "Bagnell Birth Services", where she taught natural childbirth classes out of her home. Since 2016, Bethany has added additional skills to her business by training as a Birth Doula, certifying as a Car Seat Technician, and created her own cloth diapering curriculum. 

When Bethany is not attending births and teaching her classes she enjoys spending time with her family and two German Shepherds. Her favorite pastimes include making macrame wall hangings and planning her next big travel adventure.
